About Tampa, FL

Tampa is the largest city on Florida's Gulf Coast and the cultural and economic anchor of the Tampa Bay region. With a population of 400,000+ in the city proper (and 3+ million in the greater Tampa Bay metro), Tampa offers true historic districts (Hyde Park, Seminole Heights, Ybor City), urban density (downtown, Channelside), authentic neighborhood character, and a strong, diversified economy. It's also where my entire real estate practice is centered.

What Makes Tampa Different?

  • A real city with real neighborhoods.  Unlike Florida's many resort towns, Tampa has true historic districts, urban density, and authentic neighborhood character.
  • Strong, diversified economy. Finance, healthcare, defense, tech, tourism, port logistics — Tampa's job market is one of Florida's most resilient.
  • Sports + culture. NFL Buccaneers, NHL Lightning, MLB Rays, the Tampa Riverwalk, Tampa Museum of Art, and the Straz Performing Arts Center anchor the city's identity.
  • No state income tax — a Florida-wide perk, but worth mentioning for relocations from high-tax states.
  • Beach + Gulf access. Pinellas County beaches are 30-45 minutes away. Apollo Beach and other coastal areas sit within Tampa's southern reach.
